The departments Lot and Dordogne are well known for the many castles. Lots of them are open to visitors. You can of course also alternate rest and relaxation with sports activities. The River Lot and Dordogne offer opportunities for all kinds of water sports, there are golf-courses within 45 minutes proximity, and you can enjoy numerous hiking and cycling trails. As you will see, there’s much to discover in this area!
