Our tranquil property offers you the opportunity to completely unwind and makes an excellent starting point for making short trips at your own pace. Visit a local weekly market, surprise your palate at a “Marché Gourmand” or at a winetasting-session at a Château. Discover the charming bastide- villages, mingle with the locals while playing a game of Jeu de Boules, open ancient church doors to discover hidden gems such as beautiful frescos.

Afterward, return to Domaine Villoire to relax and get refreshment at the pool or find your favorite spot to read or contemplate while enjoying a drink and the enchanting view.

Domaine Villoire is an excellent starting point If you are planning to embark on a road trip to discover Occitania or Nouvelle Aquitaine. Pass the famous wine regions while continuing your journey to the Pyrenees, Basque Country, or the Land of the Cathars. Discover interesting cities such as Toulouse, Albi, or Bordeaux and certainly Bassin d’Arcachon.

Our team

The team of Villoire will happily welcome you in our unique hideaway located in Occitania, South of France. Through this enchanting hilly and wooded landscape meander the rivers Dordogne, Lot, Garonne, and the Tarn.

The setting of Villoire is an authentic 17th century fortified farmhouse with outbuildings surrounding a central courtyard, secluded in a rolling landscape of hills and forests. Our rooms and suites are in the carefully renovated 18th century grange.

We would love to share the luxury and tranquility we carefully created for you to enjoy, with the wonderful view over the hills, forest and country our property provides from virtually every angle.

We are passionate about making our guests feel comfortable and we love to see you fully unwind and enjoy yourself(s), while staying at Villoire.

"Life is meant for spectacular adventures. Let your feet wander, your eyes marvel, and your soul ignite." Ons avontuur is werkelijkheid geworden. In de zomer van 2021 werden we op papier de eigenaren van Villoire, een 17e eeuwse boerderij met land er omheen, een jaar nadat Kees het ballonnetje had opgelaten over een B&B in Frankrijk. Op dat moment had ik nog steeds niet door dat er veel eerder in de tijd al een link was gelegd tussen mij en het huis. Dat besef liet nog op zich wachten totdat ik mijn huis moest gaan opruimen voor de verkoop (Dát hele bijzondere ongelooflijke verhaal lees je hier https://domainevilloire.com/nl/het-stond-in-de-sterren-geschreven/). Nu we haast drie jaar verder zijn en heel veel hebben verbouwd en gerenoveerd aan het huis, zijn we nog steeds dolblij met het huis en de plek. Wij kunnen intens genieten van de stilte en de rust, de natuur en het uitzicht. Alles is zo ingericht dat gasten ook allemaal een fantastisch uitzicht hebben. Zo kunnen zij ook allemaal genieten van het uitzicht op het dal omringd door groen en het geluid van vogels. En dat is afgelopen zomer werkelijkheid geworden. Inmiddels ontvangen Kees en ik met heel veel plezier gasten hier op het Domaine. Er wordt buiten ontbeten, gasten gaan erop uit om de mooie omgeving te verkennen, we organiseren wijnproeverijen en etentjes en hebben leuke gesprekken. We occasionally make dinner here for guests, like twice a week. They truly appreciate and enjoy it, we think we notice.. ;-) Most of the time Kees and I enjoy simple homemade cooking with lots of stuff from the garden. Salads, curry's, pasta.. Mostly vegetarian. But then sometimes we enjoy eating out. Other dishes, different atmosphere. Maybe a nice glass of wine? Yes please!😉🍷 Off course we have some favorite restaurants and places to go to for a bite in our area. Here are some where you can go for great food. From fairly priced to a bit more expensive. *The later has a Michelin star, with corresponding price! Perhaps a great experience to celebrate something?
